The Red Barn is pleased to further the professionalization in the industry by creating two registered apprenticeships: Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor and Equine Caretaker. The Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor apprenticeship has been approved nationally, and the Equine Caretaker apprenticeship has been approved for the state of Alabama. Our very own, Ivey Wise Lapidus, was the first in the country to complete the Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor apprenticeship- we are so proud of her!
